Description
The sports and adventure youth hostel is located on the Echternach lake and has its own climbing wall. Initiation courses are regularly offered here for children, young people and adults. Children/young people up to 15 years included only if accompanied by a full-paying adult!
Climbing harness and security device are provided for the initiation courses and are therefore included in the price.
The modern climbing wall at Echternach youth hostel is 14 metres high. This makes it ideal for regular climbing courses and free climbing, whether for beginners, advanced climbers or families. Climbing equipment can also be rented on site.
Climbing initiation courses are held four times a week for adults and children. Here you learn all the essentials of the securing techniques so that you are ready for free climbing afterwards. Registrations for climbing initiation courses are required and are also a prerequisite for all beginners to be able to participate in free climbing.

- Saturday: 13.30 – 15.30 & 16.00-16.00

Terms of cancellation
- In case of cancellation less than 2 days before the date or in case of no-show, the value of the activity will be incurred.
- In case of cancellation less than 1 week before the date, a charge equivalent to 50 % of the value of the activity will be incurred.
- In case of cancellation less than 2 weeks before the date, a charge equivalent to 25 % of the value of the activity will be incurred.

Unless stated otherwise, the participant and/or his legal representative agrees that by participating in this event, he may be photographed or filmed and that these photographs or videos may be published in the press or be used for any non-commercial purposes in direct context with the concerned activity. The participant agrees to the fact that with the release of the photographs/videos, he is not entitled to any payment.

Die Sport- und Abenteuerjugendherberge befindet sich am Echternacher See und verfügt über eine hauseigene Kletterwand. Hier werden regelmäßig Schnupperkurse für Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene angeboten. Kinder/Jugendliche bis 15 Jahre inklusive nur in Begleitung eines vollzahlenden Erwachsenen!

Le mur d’escalade moderne de l’auberge de jeunesse d’Echternach mesure 14 mètres de haut. Il est donc parfaitement adapté aux cours d’escalade réguliers et à l’escalade libre, que ce soit pour les débutants, les avancés ou les familles. Le matériel d’escalade peut également être loué sur place.
Des cours d’initiation à l’escalade sont organisés quatre fois par semaine pour les adultes et les enfants. On y apprend l’essentiel de la technique d’assurage afin d’exercer ensuite l’escalade libre. L’inscription aux cours d’initiation à l’escalade est nécessaire et constitue également une condition préalable pour tous les débutants afin de pouvoir ensuite participer à l’escalade libre.
