Accompanied by a professional tour guide, this private tour takes you from the heart of Luxembourg City to important WWII sites linked to Nazi German occupation, the resistance and the Allied Liberation.It is ideal for short stays, first-time visitors or city breaks.
During this 7-hour day tour, you will visit the American Cemetery in Luxembourg, visit the General Patton’s grave and learn about the U.S. Army’s role in the liberation of Luxembourg. After that, you will be taken to Ettelbruck to see the General Patton Memorial. Discover where Patton had his headquarters during the Battle of the Bulge.
Then, head off to the National Museum of Military History in Dierkich, one of the most important WWII museums in Europe, with realistic and immersive exhibits. On the way back, you will stop at Wallendorf, and your guide will explain you the strategy behind Wallendorf. A village near the German border, which played a key role during the Ardennes offensive.
