Spend a day at the “Ellergonn” nature reserve, in the south of Esch-sur-Alzette. A hike on the theme of wild plants awaits you. Discover edible wild plants and their location, and get ready to prepare and eat some of the food you have collected!

- Wild plant hike in the nature reserve "Ellergronn" including a tasting (Duration about 3 hours, in English, max. 25 guests per guide)
- Lunch at restaurant in Esch-Belval (3 course menu, no drinks)
- Guided visit in Belval (Duration 2 hours, in English, max. 25 guests per guide)
- Entry to the visitor platform of the blast furnace A in Esch-Belval

The prices are calculated on the assumption that a normal group size is possible again for guided tours. If there are still restrictions on gro up size at the time of the tour and more guides need to be used, the price will increase accordingly.

Program of the day: Nature reserve "Ellergronn" and Esch-sur-Alzette, in the south of Luxembourg
In the "Ellergronn" nature reserve south of Esch-sur-Alzette, which was still used for iron ore mining a few decades ago, a hike on the theme of wild plantrs awairts you today. You will discover edible wild plants and their location. YOu can even prepare and eat some of the food you have collected.
Morning: guided walk through the nature reserve "Ellergronn" and Belval, a district of Esch-sur-Alzette that was marked by steel production.
Lunch: together in Belval, in a restaurant with an industrial design.
Afternoon: visit to a blast furnace in Belval and the Cité des Sciences. You will get an insight into the history of steel production and discover how the industrial environment was transformed into a modern district.
The highlight of the tour: the 180-step climb to the visitors' platform on one of the blast furnaces. From there you have a wonderful view of the new Belval district and its new surroundings. Esch-sur-Alzette is the European Capital of Culture 2022.
